Margaret J. Hale5 was born about 1828.5 She died in 1845 at the age of 17.5 She was buried in Swisher Cemetery, Blount Twp., Vermilion Co., Illinois.5 Cemetery headstone gives her name as Marjaret J. Hale and parents names as William and Elizabeth Hale.

William appeared in the census in 1900 in Union Twp., Madison Co., Iowa.9 His occupation is given as farmer and he owns a mortgaged farm.

Lindsay C. Hendrix and Mary Jane Edwards were married on 10 February 1851 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.2,4

Mary Jane Edwards was born in 1829 or 1830 in Ohio.2 She appeared in the census in 1880 in Union Twp., Madison Co., Iowa.2
