Dear father & mother.

Little did I think Nice was our destination when we started. & this ancient city of 530 B.C. with its beautiful hotels, parks, casino, and women, are certainly beyond my dreams. That old Mediterranean sea stretching out before me with a back ground of Italian Alps - covered with snow the hills & sea coast for miles, covered with modern & ancient buildings, is a picture I cannot describe. Your loving son-
