[Letter on stationery of the Illinois State Bank of Quincy]

Quincy Ills, % Armory Hall

May 29 - 1917

Dear Father -

Today was our pay day. We were paid just for the part of April. Our May pay will come later. Am sending you a draft for the Ammount I don't need at present.

If you need any of this - use it, but if you don't need any, please put it in the bank for me.

My bank book is in my desk in my room, and in the top drawer in the end.

Hoping you are alright - I am just up today from the mumps, feel kind a weak after 8 or 10 days laying around. Received I.C.S. letter this morning. Thanks for your trouble -

I am as ever. your son

Paul B Hendrickson
