NEW UNIFORM FOR
FIFTH REGIMENT
----------
EVERY COMPANY WILL BE OUT-
FITTED WITH THE TWO NEW UNI-
FORMS AND OVERCOAT
---

The entire Fifth regiment will be outfitted with new uniforms and that right away. It is expected that the new equipment, including two uniforms, overcoat and new underwear, will arrive Tuesday and the men of Co. I who are waiting the call to camp, will be outfitted within a day or two. The other companies, many of them on duty at various places in the state, with portions at their home stations, will likewise be outfitted.

The members of the Fifth regiment band, tired of subsisting on restaurant fare, have set up their field kitchen and the company cooks are now preparing their own meals. The new system has also lowered the cost of keeping each man considerably. The band boys are eating at the armory.
