Undated Postcard

This is the Royal place. I may send you another view. They have some good ones here, but selected this one as it shows you a bit of the beautiful & artistically laid out lawn.

This castle was built for more modern living than the one I sent a picture of being finished in 711. For in that early date, they needed walls of tremendous thickness, with small windows, grated with bars of iron. But this place, while showing some marks of ancient origin is much more modern in every respect & makes a decent home altho very formal & cold looking one.
